🛑La Joya High School Parent Notification🛑
This afternoon at approximately 2:00 p.m., the fire alarm at La Joya High School was activated due to a low-water-pressure sensor.
As a precaution, the building was safely evacuated, and the local Fire Department responded to assess the situation. After a thorough inspection, the Fire Department cleared the campus and confirmed there was no threat to students, staff, or the facility.
The situation was resolved, and the campus was cleared for normal operations at approximately 2:10 p.m.
The safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Esta tarde, aproximadamente a las 2:00 p.m., se activó la alarma contra incendios en La Joya High School debido a un sensor de baja presión de agua.
Como medida de precaución, el edificio fue evacuado de manera segura y el Departamento de Bomberos respondió para evaluar la situación. Después de una inspección exhaustiva, el Departamento de Bomberos autorizó el reingreso al campus y confirmó que no existía ninguna amenaza para los estudiantes, el personal ni las instalaciones.

As we wrap up the school year, please make sure to return all school-issued items, including textbooks to your designated teacher, digital devices and computers to the library, and mobile pouches to your 2nd-period teacher. Be sure your end-of-year clearance document has all required signatures, take all personal belongings home, and remember that if you bring a backpack, it must be clear.
Most importantly, check in with your subject teachers to make sure all grades are passing, make smart choices, avoid pranks, and always prioritize your safety.
